Account and data deletion

You can delete your Banto account at any time. This page says how, what is deleted, and what your organization keeps because it is the employer's or the business's own record.
1. How to delete your account
- In the app: Settings → Delete Account. The account is deleted at once.
- By email: write to support@bantohq.com with the subject "Account deletion request" and the email address of your account. We confirm it is you and delete the account within 5 business days.
The owner of an organization must first hand the organization over to another owner (or end the contract), so that the organization is not left without an owner.
2. What is deleted

3. What your organization keeps
These are the records of the organization you worked for. They stay with that organization; ask it if you want any of them changed or removed.

Banto does not record your location when you clock in or out.
4. Other copies
- App crash reports (no name; device and app details only): deleted after 90 days.
- Backups: deleted data stays in backups for up to 60 days; deleted files can be restored for 7 days.
- Emails we sent you: the email provider's log is kept for 30 days.
5. After deletion
You can sign up again with the same email address later, but deleted data cannot be restored.
6. Deleting only some data
To delete only some data (for example particular photos) without deleting your account, write to support@bantohq.com. Records that belong to your organization are decided by that organization.
